Fullerton Chamber of Commerce honored Past President, Shirley Thiele, as an Honorary Lifetime Member on June 20, at the Chamber’s annual Presidents’ Business Achievement Awards. Thiele, the organization’s third Lifetime Chamber Member, joins the ranks of fellow past presidents, former State Senator Dick Ackerman and William McGarvey, Jr.

She took an active role in planning and volunteering for the Chamber’s Sugar Plum Ball, Golf Tournament, annual Presidents’ Business Achievement Awards, and other committee leadership roles. She was named Chamber Member of the Year in 2008 for contributions to the Fullerton business community.
Thiele was humbled and honored by the Lifetime Membership that was a surprise presentation to her by the Chair of the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, Gizi Clemmer, and Past Chair Gary Graves, and witnessed by the attendees at the event, including her husband and children.
