Mission: Small Business

by Rachael Mitchell on June 19, 2012

In addition to being the hub of innovation and our country’s entrepreneurial spirit, small businesses account for nearly 50% of all employment in America.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce believes that the American recovery will be led by these small businesses, and wants to do all they can to help.

That’s why the U.S. Chamber is partnering with Chase and Living Social to create Mission: Small BusinessSM — a new program that will award $250,000 to as many as 12 small businesses across America.

Between now and June 30th, small businesses from across the country can visit www.missionsmallbusiness.com and submit their applications.  Applicants will need to garner 250 eligible votes to qualify for consideration for one of the $250,000 grants.

That’s where you come in.

Visit www.missionsmallbusiness.com and check out all of the small businesses stories. You can then pledge your support and vote for your favorites — and for every pledge, Chase and Living Social will add $5 to the grant pool.

The winners will be chosen by a panel of business experts who will award $250,000 grants to up to 12 small businesses.

Visit www.missionsmallbusiness.com and be a part of growing America’s vital and innovative small business community.
